About KFA

Be part of Kentucky's only
association for
professional floral designers.

KFA was founded in 1957 by 13 florists from across the state. Their mission was to create a non-profit organization to promote appreciation of floriculture and serve as a trade asociation for the state. They divided the state into 8 districts, each with an elected director serving on the association's governing board.

Today our association has more than 200 members across the state and in neighboring states. KFA stands up and speaks out for all florists in the state.
As a member you can:

  • expand your skills through our florists' education program offering nationally recognized certification
  • receive assistance from the KFA Disaster Relief Fund which could help you reopen/restock your shop following a natural disaster
  • participate in district-level education and design workshops presented around the state
  • join our group health insurance plan that offers you and your employees affordable insurance

We offer many educational programs throughout the year
