FLORAL EDUCATION PROGRAM OF KENTUCKY (FEPK)

Each year the Kentucky Florists' Association host the Floral Education Program of Kentucky (FEPK) for beginners and for individuals seeking the Kentucky Master Florist (KMF) certification.

 

The FEPK Beginner's Course is for any florist with three (3) years or less experience in the industry and serves as the first step towards earning the Kentucky Master Florist certification. This course is a day-long experience that serves as an introduction into floral design including principles and elements of design, funeral design, and wedding design. This is an excellent course for anyone beginning their journey in the industry.

THIS YEAR's beginners course will be june 24 and 25, 2022 at the capital plaza hotel in frankfort, ky.

Students must be present for both days.

 

The Kentucky Master Florist (KMF) certification is a five day-long program that teaches the ins and outs of the floral industry with a focus on hands-on design classes in funeral, wedding, and everyday designs. The class will also review care and handling of plants, cut flowers, and arrangements, marketing and customer relations, and business operations. A certification test will end the program to determine if the Kentucky Master Florist certification is earned. THIS Year's KMF Certification course will be june 19 - 24, 2022 at the capital plaza hotel in Frankfort, ky. Students must be present all days.
