KFA's 51st Annual Convention

The attendees of the 51st Annual Convention were inspired during a full weekend of activity. The weekend started with a show on French Country Designs by Ardith Beveridge, AAF, AIFD, PFCI from Koehler & Dramm's Institute of Floristry in Minneapolis, MN. On Saturday designers T Dale Shirley, AIFD and Neil Hallorantalked about the "FISH! Philosophy." On Sunday, Laura Thompson, KMF, Paul Miller. AIFD, PFCI and Roger Dennis, AIFD, KMF presented designs.

The Saturday President's Gala was an elegant affair with French Art Gallery designs by florists Ben Lee, KMF, Gayle Willoughby, KMF, and Lynn Pennington, KMF. Ercy McCoy Miller was inducted into the KFA Hall of Fame. Chad Ellis was announced as Designer of the Year. The convention ended with an auction of Sunday's stage designs with proceeds donated to the KFA education program.
